Healthy Living Project for Newcomer Women and Girls

The purpose of the Healthy Living Project is to build capacity among community, provincial and national healthy living service providers to better understand the needs of newcomer girls and women in regards to healthy living and community engagement. The goal is to encourage further integration into communities and to contribute to their overall quality of life though physical activity, sports programs and healthy living.
We want to gratefully acknowledge the funding we received for this project from Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity (CAAWS) in 2018.

We continue to engage with our group by facilitating activities virtually and in person while following all public health COVID safety procedures to ensure the safety and health of our clients.

Please fill out the documents below and either e-mail or bring the completed forms to our office. You can also request to join our private Facebook page where we will post about upcoming events and activities.
